Recently he and his partner, Darin Spieth, purchased the company from retiring President, David Norton. Dan has been a professional auctioneer for over 20 years. In addition, he is a Realtor. Darin Spieth - CEO & AuctioneerDarin has been a professional auctioneer for over 20 years and is the Chief Auctioneer of Norton Auctioneers, as well as co-owner. Darin worked with Norton Auctioneers for over ten years, beginning in mid-1990's and is looking forward to continuing the legacy and standards set by David Norton. Darin is also a licensed real estate salesperson. Darin has two sons in college, and makes his home in Reading, Michigan. In her new position with Dan and Darin, she will be seen frequently at auctions. Denise does much of the advertising and marketing work, along with auction settlements, licensing, title work, sales tax, and office management. Denise is married with two grown children and one grandson. She makes her home at Coldwater Lake. David A. Norton - Retired President/CEODavid founded Norton Auctioneers in 1966. He personally conducted over 4,000 auctions in 43 states and several foreign countries. David is a past-President of the Michigan State Auctioneers Association, and has been a member of the National Auctioneers Association since 1967. Additionally, David is a member of the IAAPA, OABA (Director), SLA (past President), IAFE, and various Showmen's Clubs.
